The Jackson Foundation is closed between February 27th and March 18th, reopening Saturday March 19th.
The gallery will reopen with three new shows, Kurt Jackson’s Clay Country and Mermaids’ Tears and Sally Baldwin’s Fragile Earth.
Invited artist Sally Baldwin’s Fragile Earth evokes natural forms such as trees, insects, sea life and water. The materials which include handmade paper, silk waste and cotton scrim are ghostly white and ephemeral, suggesting delicate, fragile and finely balanced vulnerable landscapes.
