Come and join us for an exciting day at the Jackson Foundation.
Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust will be running seal and marine family activities all day – suitable for all ages, come and learn something new!
There will also be a marine and seal conservation exhibition, featuring some of Cornwall’s local wildlife, marine plastics, eco ideas and (of course) lots of interesting seal artefacts and information!
It is the first public launch of Augusta – a newly articulated 3 day old seal pup skeleton. She will be joined by Septimus – an adult male seal skeleton with a spectacular story to tell.
Aswell as this, there will be a talk by Rob Wells and Sue Sayer at 2pm. Sue Sayer is the founder of CSGRT and Rob Wells is a long term volunteer for Cornwall Wildlife Trust‘s Marine Strandings Network.
We’d love to see you there to share and celebrate some really special seal stories with you… Hope you can make it!
